Dr. Terry Wright: Principal – Early Childhood, Grades Kindergarten – Second

Terry Wright, Mission Director

I am blessed to be a part of Covenant Community Schools. My whole life has spent working with children in many different settings. From home-schooling our four children (for a season) to teaching and administrating in private, Christian education, to a four year sojourn in public education, I have enjoyed inspiring children to love learning. I truly found my passion for working with children and youth and count it pure joy to lead them to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been teaching for over 20 years, having served in both public and private education.

My B.A. and M.Ed. are from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. My Ed.D. is in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. I am certified EC-4th grade with the State of Texas. I also hold all-level certifications in ESL, Gifted/talented, and Reading Specialist. Additionally, I am a Texas Master Reading teacher. My experience in education has been widespread with significant success in working with learning challenged children and children with Asperger’s.

Covenant Community Schools is a home missions work. I enjoy working alongside my husband of over 40 years, as we plant in the vineyard that will yield a future harvest. My responsibilities are varied ranging from staff training to all facets of school operations.
